 Question 1. How did the Saint Peter come to the old woman's cattage? (सेंट पीटर बूढ़ी महिला की कुटिया पर कैसे पहुँचा?) 

 

Ans. One evening Saint Peter was very hungry and faint with fasting. In such a state, he came to the old woman's cottage.

 Question 2. Describe about the Northland. (नार्थ लैण्ड के विषय में वर्णन कीजिए।) 

 Ans. Northland is polar region where days are shorter and nights are longer in winter. People us sledge for travelling. People wear fur clothes. 

Question 3.Which legend does this poem tell about (यह कविता किस पौराणिक कथा के बारे में बताती है?)

 Ans. The poem ´A Legend of the Northland' tells about the legend of Saint Peter and an old woman. Once, being hungry, Saint Peter asked the old woman for a cake. But that selfish woman did not give him any. So he changed her into a wood pecker.
